6664 RESOLUTION NO. 6 ,664
A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING SINCERE GRATITUDE
AND APPRECIATION TO DR. FREDERICK T. GUY
FOR 50 YEARS OF DEDICATED SERVICE TO THE
MT. ZION BAPTIST CHURCH.
WHEREAS , Dr. Frederick T. Guy has served as pastor and
spiritual leader of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church for 50
years; and
WHEREAS, Dr. Guy has provided guidance and wisdom to
the Arkansas Baptist College through his service as a
trustee for nearly 50 years; and
WHEREAS , Dr. Guy has, with unselfish dedication,
served as president of the Consolidated Baptist Convention
of Arkansas for 29 years; and
WHEREAS , Dr. Guy has made a unique and lasting
contribution to the community in which he lives and is
regarded as an exemplary minister.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK BOARD OF DIRECTORS.
SECTION 1. The City of Little Rock Board of Directors
wishes to express its deep gratitude and sincere
appreciation to Dr. Frederick T. Guy for his outstanding
service in building a great church and his tireless
leadership of a fine private college.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
