RESOLUTION NO . 6 ,643
A RESOLUTION APPOINTING SUCCESSOR COMMISSIONERS FOR
BROADMOOR RECREATIONAL AREA IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 2
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
WHEREAS , The Board of Commissioners of Broadmoor Recreational
Area Improvement District No. 2 of Little Rock, Arkansas , has
reported:
1. That pursuant to the provisions in the petition for the
creation of the District, and in Section 3 of Ordinance No. 13510 ,
which created the District, which provides that the commissioners
of the District shall have the same terms of office as the Directors
of the Broadmoor Property Owners Association, and that the outgoing
directors of the Association shall resign each year as commissioners
of the District and the incoming Directors of the Association
shall be appointed as their successors on the Board of Commissioners ,
the three outgoing Directors of the Association, John Paladino,
Robert E. Wyatt, and Robert Pursley have resigned as members of
the Board of Commissioners of the District to the end that successor
commissioners will be appointed.
2 . That Broadmoor Property Owners Association has elected
as new members to its Board Laverne R. Bishop, Charles Hamilton,
and Brenda Faulkner, and the remaining members of the Board of
Commissioners of said District recommend that they be appointed
as Commissioners of said District to succeed John Paladino,
Robert E. Wyatt, and Robert Pursley on the Board.
3. That they have elected Jack Crawford as Chairman of the
Board of Commissioners .
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, that:
1 . Laverne R. Bishop, Charles Hamilton, and Brenda Faulkner,
be and they are hereby appointed as Commissioners of Broadmoor
Recreational Area Improvement District No. 2 of Little Rock, Arkansas,
to succeed John Paladino, Robert E . Wyatt, and Robert Pursley
as members of the Board and they are directed to forthwith take
their oaths of office and enter upon their duties as such commissioners .
