6605 RESOLUTION NO . 6 , 605
A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE WILLINGNESS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK TO MATCH FEDERAL AID
AND URBAN SYSTEM MONIES FOR THE I-430 AND
SHACKLEFORD ROAD INTERCHANGE IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT; AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE THE AGREEMENTS NECESSARY FOR THE
PROJECT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS , the City of Little Rock understands additional
Federal Aid and Urban System funds are available for improve-
ments to the City streets ; and
WHEREAS , the City understands that their matching
portion of this project will be 25% of the total cost ;
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
Section 1 . The City of Little Rock will participate
in accordance with its designated responsibility in this
project .
Section 2 . The City Manager is hereby authorized and
directed to execute all appropriate agreements and contracts
necessary to expedite the construction of improvements on City
streets .
Section 3 . The City of Little Rock hereby pledges its
full support and hereby authorizes the Arkansas Highway and
Transportation cepartment to initiate action to construct
this project .
Section 4. This Resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption and approval .
