6556 RESOLUTION NO. 6 ,556
A RESOLUTION ENDORSING A CUL-DE-SAC APPROACH
TO WOODLAND HEIGHTS ROAD AND DIRECTING PUBLIC
WORKS TO WORK WITH THE PRIVATE IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has endorsed a cul-de-sac
street arrangement for Woodland Heights Road; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors is aware of the impact of
non-residential traffic through this subdivision; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors is aware of the amount of
non-residential development developing in this area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Board hereby endorses the concept of
dead-ending Woodland Heights Road in some form of cul-de-sac , the
form of which to be determined by the Public Works Department.
SECTION 2. The Board of Directors hereby directs the
Public Works staff to assist the improvement district once it
is formed to ensure that the construction done by the district
conforms to City standards .
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
