6552 RESOLUTION NO. 6 , 552
A RESOLUTION ENDORSING THE CONCEPT OF
FORMATION OF A CENTRAL BUSINESS IMPROVE-
MENT DISTRICT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS , the General Assembly has declared that the
deterioration of the central business districts of cities is
a threat to the revenue sources of those cities , and
WHEREAS , the elimination or urban blight and decay
and the modernization and general improvement of such districts
is desirable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1 . That citizens interested in forming central
business improvement districts are encouraged to do so according
to the statutory prescription.
SECTIO11 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption and approval .
