6544 RESOLUTION NO. 6 ,544
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SALE OF
CITY OWNED PROPERTY LOCATED AT 14TH AND
CENTER STREETS TO MR. AND MRS. JOSEPH ROSS,
FOR $8, 000 ; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, in November 1980, Mr. Joseph Ross presented an
offer of $4, 000 to the City to buy property described as
follows :
The north 7 feet of Lot 10, and the south 35 feet of Lot 11 ,
and , the east 85 feet of the north 15 feet of Lot 11, and
the east 85 feet of Lot 12 , all in Block 193, Original City
of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Ross was informed that the minimum acceptable
price was $8, 000 ; and
WHEREAS, on March 11, 1981 , the City received another offer
in the form of a letter from Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Ross, in which
they agreed to pay $8,000 for the property; and
WHEREAS, It has been indicated that Mr. and Mrs. Ross intend
to build a solar energy home on the subject property.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS;
SECTION 1 . The sale of property located at 14th and Center
Streets, more particularly described above , is hereby authorized
to Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Ross for $8,000.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption and approval .
