6483 RESOLUTION NO. 6 , 483
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXTENSION
OF CONTRACTS WITH GULF OIL COMPANY AND
AMERICAN OIL COMPANY FOR A TWELVE MONTH
PERIOD; DECLARING AN EXCEPTIONAL SITUA-
TION AND WAIVING COMPETITIVE BIDDING;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS , it has been recommended that contracts with
Gulf Oil Company for tank wagon deliveries of gasoline and
with American Oil Company for transport deliveries of gaso-
line be extended for twelve months ; and
WHEREAS , Gulf Oil Company and American Oil Company
must follow Federal Energy Administration allocation and
price regulations and such adherence will assure the City
fulfillment of its gasoline requirements for the next twelve
months at controlled prices .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1 . The extension of contracts with Gulf Oil
Company and American Oil Company for a period of twelve months
is hereby authorized.
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption and approval .
