A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF EASEMENTS FOR THE
USE AND BENEFIT OF THE LITTLE ROCK MUNICIPAL WATER WORKS
WHEREAS, the City is the Owner of the hereinafter described real
property; and
WHEREAS, the Little Rock Municipal Water Works has requested that
certain easements be designated for the use of the Little Rock
Municipal Water Works for the purpose of laying certain pipelines on
property already owned by the City; and
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the City of Little Rock
that said easements be granted.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1. The Mayor and City Clerk of Little Rock, Arkansas,
be, and they hereby are, hereby authorized and directed to execute
right-of-way easements conveying to the City of Little Rock for the use
and benefit of the Little Rock Municipal Water Works the following
described real property situated in Pulaski County, Arkansas in
consideration of One Dollar ($ 1.00) to-wit:
BOYLE PARK:
An easement 20 feet in width for the operation and maintenance of said
pipeline with an additional 15 feet each side of said easement to be
used during installation of said pipeline. Clearing in the additional
easement shall be limited. Trees that are flagged in this area shall
not be removed.
The centerline beginning at a point 15 feet West and 480 feet North of
the Southeast corner of the SE1/4, Section 12, T-1-N, R-13-W; thence
North 394 feet +, parallel to the East line; thence deflect left
39°41' , 387.9 feet; thence deflect right 55°59' , 387.7 feet; thence
deflect left 7°43' , 873 feet to its termination point at the centerline
of Glenmere Drive and 22 feet right of the centerline of Boyle Park
Road.
KANIS PARK:
An easement 20 feet in width for the operation and maintenance of said
pipeline with an additional 15 feet each side of said easement to be
used during installation of said pipeline. Clearing in the additional
easement shall be limited. Trees that are flagged in this area shall
not be removed.
The centerline beginning at the East line of Section 2, T-1-N, R-13-W,
107 feet + North of the Southeast corner; thence North 80° West from
said East line on tangent of curve, 83.24 feet to P.I. of curve;
(Radius 390 feet); deflect right 34°00' , 119.24 feet to P.T. of curve;
(Length of Arc 231.43 feet+); thence continue on tangent 766.4 feet +;
thence deflect right 6°44', 333.8 feet; thence deflect left 2°24T,
218.4 feet; thence deflect left 7°52' , 170 feet; thence deflect right
52°37' , 18 feet + to its termination at a point on an existing water
pipeline near the south right-of-way of 1-630.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall take effect and be in full force from
and after its adoption.
