6448 RESOLUTION NO. 6 ,448
A RESOLUTION WAIVING COMPETITIVE BIDDING
AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH PRC PUBLIC
MANAGEMENT SERVICES , INC. FOR TECHNICAL
SUPPORT IN THE DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION
OF A COMPUTER AIDED DISPATCH SYSTEM;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS , it has been determined that a sole source is
available to provide a study for technical support in the
design and implementation of a computer aided dispatch
system; and
WHEREAS , the staff has recommended that the City enter
into a contract with PRC Public Management Services , Inc.
for a technical support study of the design and
implementation of a computer aided dispatch system in the
City.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1 . The City Manager is hereby authorized to
enter into a contract with PRC Public Management Services ,
Inc. for technical support in the design and implementation
of a computer aided dispatch system.
SECTION 2. An exceptional situation is hereby declared
to exist in regard to the study necessary for technical
support in the design and implementation of a computer aided
dispatch system in that a sole source exists and the
requirement of competitive bidding is hereby waived .
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption and approval .
