6440 RESOLUTION NO. 6 , 440
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO PROCEED WITH THE PURCHASE OF TWO TRACTS
OF LAND IN THE FOURCHE BOTTOMS; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES.
WHEREAS , the Board of Directors has previously
appropriated funds to enable the City to purchase tracts of
land in the Fourche bottoms; and
WHEREAS , the Staff has worked closely with the
Wastewater Utility Department to determine which two tracts
were the most appropriate; and
WHEREAS , two tracts of land are essential for the large
wastewater trunk line going through the Fourche bottoms and
for the eventual assembly of acreage for Fourche Creek.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTION I . The City Manager is hereby authorized to
proceed with the purchase of two tracts of land in the
Fourche bottoms.
SECTION II . This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption and approval .
