6425 RESOLUTION NO 6 ,425
A RESOLUTION DEDICATING CERTAIN PARCELS OF PUBLICLY
OWNED STREET RIGHT OF WAY TO BE USED BY THE CITY FOR
MAKING VARIOUS IMPROVEMENTS AS A PART OF THE DEVELOP-
MENT FOR THE CIVIC-CONVENTION HOTEL CENTER; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. For the term or terms and subject to the provisions and conditions
of that certain Construct and Lease Agreement dated April 17, 1979 authorized by
Resolution No. 6116 of the Board of Directors, as amended by Resolution No. 6396
between the City of Little Rock, Arkansas and Little Rock Center Associates, Ltd. ,
for development of a Civic-Convention Hotel Center, the following described parcels
of publicly owned street right of way situated in Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas
are hereby dedicated to be used by the City for the making of various improvements
as a part of structures to be placed on the said Civic-Convention Hotel Center:
Tract 1: Air Rights over a portion of West Markham Street between
mean sea level elevation 304.33 and 318.33 for the tract
of land described below:
A Tract of land located in the SEA , NE1 , Section 3, Town-
ship 1 North, Range 12 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas,
said tract being a portion of the right of way of West
Markham Street adjacent to Fractional Block 80 and Block 81,
Original City of Little Rock, said tract being more par-
ticularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of said Fractional
Block 80, said point being the intersection of the North
right of way line of West Markham Street with the East
right of way line of Ashley Street; thence along said north right
of way line of West Markham Street S 89° 43' 52" E 45.75
feet to the point of beginning; thence continue along
said North right of way line of West Markham Street S 89°
43' 52" E 12.00 feet to a point; thence S 00° 16' 08" W
60.00 feet to a point, said point being on the South
right of way line of West Markham Street; thence along
said South right of way line of West Markham Street N
89° 43' 52" W 12,00 feet to a point; thence N 00° 16' 08"
E 60.00 feet to the point of beginning, and containing
720 square feet or 0,165 acres, more or less;
AND
Tract 2: A tract of land located in the SE's, NE114, Section 3 and in
the SWa, NWT , Section 2, all in Township 1 North, Range 12
West, Pulaski County, Arkansas, said tract being a portion
of the right of way of North Main Street adjacent to Block 79,
Original City of Little Rock, said tract being more parti-
cularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Southeast corner of said Block 79, said
point being the intersection of the North right of way line
of West Markham Street with the West right of way line of
North Main Street; thence along said West right of way line
of North Main Street N 00° 13" 50" E 133,00 feet to the point
of beginning; thence S 89° 46' 10" E 21.33 feet to a point;
thence N 00° 13' 50" E 31.83 feet to a point; thence S

E 40,83 feet to a point; thence N 56° 31'' 20" E 104.58
feet to a point; thence N 84° 57' 58" W 119.42 feet to a
point; said point being on said west right of way line of

of North Main Street S 00° 13' 50" W 140.70 feet to the
point of beginning, and containing 6,963 square feet or
0.160 acres, more or less;'

Tract 3; A tract of land located in the 8E1 , NE1, Section 3, Town-
ship 1 North, Range 12 West, Pulaski County, Arkansas, said
tract being a portion of the right of way of West Markham
Street, south of and adjacent to a portion of Fractional
Block 80 and Block 79, Original City of Little Rock, said
tract being more particularly described as follows:
Commencing at the Southwest corner of said Fractional Block
80, said point being the intersection of the North right of
way line of West Markham Street with the East right of way
line of Ashley Street; thence along said North right of way
line of West Markham Street S 89° 431 52" E 43.67 feet to
the point of beginning; thence continue along said north
right of way line of West Markham Street S 89° 43' 52" E
311.50 feet to a point; thence S 00° 16' 08" W 9.50 feet
to a point; thence along a line that is 9.50 feet south of
and parallel to said north right of way line of West Markham
Street N 89° 43' 52" W 311,50 feet to a point; thence N
000 16' 08" E 9.50 feet to the point of beginning, and
containing 2,959 square feet or 0.068 acre, more or less;

Tract 4; A tract of land located in the SEA , NE1, Section 3, Town-

said tract being a portion of the Ashley Street right of
way, West of Fractional Block 80, Original City of Little
Rock, said tract being more, particularly described as
follows;
Commencing at the. Southwest corner of said Fractional Block
80, said point being the intersection of the North right of
way line of West Markham Street with the East right of way
line of Ashley Street; thence along a westerly extension
of the North right of way line of West Markham Street
N 89° 43' 52" W 1.00 feet to a point; thence along a line
that is 1.00 feet west of and parallel to the East right
of way line of Ashley Street N 000 12' 36" E 161.00 feet
to the point of beginning; thence N 89° 47' 24" W 4.42 feet
to a point; thence N 00° 12 " 36" E 51,00 feet to a point;
thence S 890 47" 24" E 4.42 feet to a point, said point
being 1,00 feet west of the East right of way line of
Ashley Street; thence along a line that is 1.00 feet
west of and parallel to the East right of way line of
Ashley Street $ 0.00 12' 36" W 51.00 feet to the point of
beginning, and containing 225 square feet or 0.005 acre,
more or less.
SECTION 2, The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to cause a copy of
this Resolution to be recorded in the records.. of the Circuit Clerk and Recorder of
Pulaski. County, Arkansas.

SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from and after
its adoption.
