6419 RESOLUTION NO. 6 , 419
A RESOLUTION APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING AN
ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE WITH THE
RESPONSIBILITY FOR DELIVERY OF CERTAIN
MUNICIPAL SERVICES; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, the City Manager proposes to restructure and
organize various departments and divisions thereof in the
City government in a planned effort to more effectively and
efficiently provide certain City services to the citizens of
Little Rock; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors concurs with the
proposal of the City Manager and desires to authorize the
implementation of said proposal .
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1 . An administrative organization is hereby
established for the City under the direction of the City
Manager and subject to his full direction and control
consisting of the City Clerk and staff assistance on matters
of Comprehensive Planning , Human Resources and
administrative activities.
SECTION 2. All other departments will he organized
under the direction of the Deputy City Manager and will
report to the City Manager through the Deputy City Manager.
SECTION 3. This resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
