A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
THE CITY CLERK TO SIGN A DOCUMENT
ENTITLED "ARKANSAS POWER AND LIGHT
COMPANY RIGHT-OF-WAY PERMIT" THEREBY
GRANTING AN EASEMENT ACROSS BUTLER PARK ;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, Arkansas Power and Light Company has prepared
a document entitled "Right-of-Way Permit, " the purpose of
which is to grant an easement to Arkansas Power and Light
Company across Butler Park to be used for relocation of
power lines, and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Board of Directors to
grant the above described easement to allow Arkansas Power
and Light Company to perform the necessary work in the area
of Butler Park, and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1 . The Mayor and the City Clerk are hereby
authorized to sign, on behalf of the City, a document
entitled "Arkansas Power and Light Company Right-of-Way
Permit, " a copy of which is attached hereto as Exhibit A,
thereby granting an easement across Butler Park to Arkansas
Power and Light Company.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
