A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE GRANTING OF
AN EASEMENT TO ARKANSAS POWER AND LIGHT
FOR RIGHT-OF-WAY ON SHACKLEFORD ROAD;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS , the State Hospital Board has requested that
Arkansas Power and Light relocate an overhead primary circuit
which crosses Arkansas State Hospital ; and
WHEREAS , in order to accomplish the relocation of an
overhead primary circuit , Arkansas Power and Light needs to
cross certain real property owned by the City.
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. Arkansas Power and Light Company is hereby
granted an easement for right-of-way on the real property
acquired by the City in connection with the extension of
Shackleford Road.
SECTION 2 . It is hereby declared that the easement
granted herein shall be only for the period necessary for
Arkansas Power and Light Company to relocate the overhead
primary circuit which crosses the Arkansas State Hospital
property and at the end of said period the easement shall
terminate.
SECTION 3 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption and approval .
