A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE STAFF
OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK TO PRESENT A
CASE FOR DOWNZONING A CERTAIN
PROPERTY ON 36TH STREET IN THE
JOHN BARROW ADDITION TO THE
PLANNING COMMISSION AFTER THE
STAFF HAS REVIEWED THE CDBG PLAN
FOR THAT AREA; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, the CDBG Plan for the John Barrow Addition
area establishes the location of the commercial line for
that area and establishes a location for the introduction of
the multifamily classification in that area;
AND
WHEREAS, other property at 33rd and John Barrow Road
has been rezoned for commercial use;
AND
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the commercial
zoning at 36th Street is misplaced, and the new commercial
area should be at 33rd and John Barrow Road.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK , ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1 . The Staff of the Planning Commission of the
City of Little Rock is hereby directed to present a case for
downzoning of certain property on 36th Street in the John
Barrow Addition to the Planning Commission after the Staff
has reviewed the CDBG Plan for that area.
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
