A RESOLUTION IN MEMORY OF MRS. ANNE ARCHER HOLMANN
WHEREAS, Anne Archer Holmann died on February 5,
1980; and
WHEREAS, Anne Archer Holmann for many years
served the City Beautiful Commission, both as a member and
as an honorary member; and
WHEREAS, Anne Archer Holmann encouraged and
supported the acquisition of land and the improvement of
the area around the "Little Rock" , a project that has now
become a near reality; and
WHEREAS, Anne Archer Holmann through her efforts
assisted the City Beautiful Commission in numerous ways and
means in making this City a more attractive place in which
to live; and
WHEREAS, Anne Archer Holmann is remembered for
the warmth and wisdom she carried to all who knew and worked
with her; and
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The life of Anne Archer Holmann has
been a genuine inspiration to all who knew her. Her character,
her leadership and her interest in this community will be
missed.
SECTION 2. This resolution shall be in full force
and effect from and after its adoption.
