A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING UNITED WAY
OF PULASKI COUNTY, INC . , AS THE
GRANTEE AGENCY FOR A FEDERALLY FUNDED
URBAN CRIME PREVENTION PROGRAM TO BE
INSTITUTED IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK:
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS , Federal funds are available for an Urban Crime
Prevention Program to be instituted in the City of Little
Rock? and
WHEREAS , it is necessary for the City to designate a
non-profit agency as the Applicant/Grantee of the funds .
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1 . United Way of Pulaski County, Inc . , is
hereby designated as the Applicant/Grantee agency for a
Federally-funded Urban Crime Prevention Program to be
instituted in the City of Little Rock.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from an after its passage and approval .
