A RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE "A" SHIFTS
OF ENGINE COMPANIES 1 , 2 , 5 and 8 , TRUCK
COMPANY 4 AND CHIEFS J.B. DAVIS AND
B .E . MOSLEY FOR THEIR EXCELLENT WORK IN
PUTTING OUT A FIRE AT 1524 CENTER STREET;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, the men of the Little Rock Fire Department
daily place duty and the protection of life and property
above all else, and
WHEREAS, on March 30 , 1980 , the "A" Shifts of Engine
Companies 1 , 2 , 5 and 8 , the "A" Shift of Truck Company 4
and Chiefs J .B. Davis and D.E . Mosley distinguished
themselves by their excellent work in putting out a fire at
a residence at 1524 Center Street in the City of
Little Rock .
NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK , ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1 . The Board of Directors on behalf of the
citizens of Little Rock , do hereby recognize and heartily
commend the "A" Shifts of Engine Companies 1 , 2 , 5 and 8 ,
the "A" Shift of Truck Company 4 and Chiefs J.B. Davis and
D.E . Mosley for their excellent work and devotion to duty.
