A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY
TO FILE SUIT ON THE STATUTORY PERFORMANCE
BOND GIVEN BY WESTERN LITTLE ROCK LAND
COMPANY, INC . , AS PRINCIPAL AND UNITED
PACIFIC COMPANY, AS SURETY, TO THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK FOR LONGLEA PHASE 6 STREET
AND DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS , AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES .
WHEREAS , certain defects remain in the Longlea Phase
6 street and drainage improvements ; and
WHEREAS , the contractor has failed and refused to correct
the defects .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1 . The City Attorney is hereby authorized to
file suit on the statutory performance bond given by Western
Little Rock Land Company, Inc . , as Principal , and United Pacific
Company, as Surety, to the City of Little Rock for Longlea
Phase 6 street and drainage improvements .
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
