A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING LITTLE ROCK SHOOTING
SPORT ASSOCIATION TO OPERATE THE PISTOL RANGE
IN COOPERATION WITH THE LITTLE ROCK POLICE
DEPARTMENT UNTIL A NEW RANGE IS CONSTRUCTED
BY THE CITY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS , the City of Little Rock is presently considering
construction of a new pistol range facility; and
WHEREAS , the Little Rock Shooting Sport Association has
presented its request to the Board that the old pistol range
remain open; and
WHEREAS , the City of Little Rock will provide the labor
and materials to make the necessary repairs at the pistol
range .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1 . The Little Rock Shooting Sport Association is
hereby authorized to operate the pistol range in cooperation
with the Little Rock Police Department until a new range
facility is constructed by the City upon the condition that the
Little Rock Shooting Sport Association will provide supervision
at the facility.
SECTION 2 . The City of Little Rock hereby states its
intent to provide labor and materials to make necessary repairs
at the pistol range.
SECTION 3 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
