A RESOLUTION NAMING A PARK LOCATED IN THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK IN HONOR OF THE LATE HOWARD THOM, AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The lands described as follows:
Part of the NW 1/4 SW 1/4 Section 1, Township 1 South, Range
13 West, Puclaski County, Arkansas, more particularly described
as follows: Beginning at the Northwest corner of the NW 1/4
SW 1/4 of Section 1; thence South 0°37'35" West 1073.77 feet;
thence East 862.29 feet to the point of beginning of the
description of this tract; thence North 0°26'35" East 615 feet;
thence East 500 feet; thence South 0°26'35" West 165 feet;
thence West 500 feet to the point of beginning, and containing
7.059 acres more or less.
from and after the effective date of this Resolution shall be known and
identified as Howard Thom Park in honor of and as recognition of Howard
Thom.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
