A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION DEED
FROM THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
RE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. The Dedication Deed from the Housing Authority of the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas, a copy of wizich is attached hereto as
Exhibit A, is hereby accepted.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.

DEDICATION DEED
KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS :
WHEREAS, Housing Authority of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, a corporation organized under and by virtue of the
laws of the State of Arkansas , is the owner of the following
eight (8) Low-Rent Public Housing Projects located in the
City of Little Rock, Arkansas :
Sunset Terrace, Project ARK 4-1
Highland Park, Projects ARK 4-2 , 7 and 8
Amelia B. Ives Homes, Projects ARK 4-3 and 6
Joseph A. Booker Homes , Project ARK 4-4
Hollinsworth Grove, Project ARK 4-5
which projects were constructed and have been operated by
Housing Authority of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas pur-
suant to Cooperation Agreement dated July 12 , 1950 entered
into between Housing Authority of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas and City of Little Rock, Arkansas, which Coopera-
tion Agreement provides for the acceptance of the dedication
of all internal streets and other facilities within the project
areas after the construction thereof, and the purpose of this
Dedication Deed is to provide for the dedication of the rights
of way pursuant to said Cooperation Agreement;
NOW, THEREFORE, Housing Authority of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas, GRANTOR, by the Chairman of its Board of
Commissioners and its Secretary, for valuable considerations,
the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, does hereby dedi-
cate, grant, convey and quitclaim unto the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, GRANTEE, and unto its successors and assigns forever,
all of the lands comprising the rights of way for the public
streets and also for the storm sewers and drainage ditches
located within said Low-Rent Public Housing Projects referred
to above, the location and widths of which are reflected upon
eight (8) separate site plans of the aforesaid eight (8) projects ,
the metes and bounds descriptions of each of the eight (8) pro-
jects being indicated on the respective site plans which are
made a part hereof and attached hereto as Exhibits I through 8,
inclusive, together with the right of entry upon an area two
(2) feet in width on either side of the curb lines of said
streets as now existing and as reflected upon the respective
site plans to serve as an area to be used in the maintenance
of such public streets; provided, however, that Grantor expressly
reserves the right of entry upon the aforesaid street and also
storm sewer and drainage ditch rights of way for the purpose
of maintenance of and repairs to underground pipes and lines
of the electric, water, sanitary sewer and natural gas systems
which are owned, operated and maintained by Grantor and which
serve the aforesaid eight (8) projects.
By its acceptance of this Dedication Deed, Grantee
expressly assumes and takes over from Grantor the obligation
for all future maintenance and repair of the public streets
and related facilities and also of the storm sewers and drain-
age ditches within the rights of way therefor, including pav-
ing and drainage structures within the street and also the
storm sewer and drainage ditch rights of way, in accordance
with the Cooperation Agreement.
There are areas indicated upon the site plans adjoin-
ing the street rights of way which are used for the purpose
of public parking. Such parking areas are expressly not
included in this Dedication Deed.
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD such public street and also storm
sewer and drainage ditch rights of way unto Grantee, and unto
its successors and assigns forever.
IN TESTIMONY WHEREOF, the name of the Grantor is here-
unto affixed by the Chairman of its Board of Commissioners and
its seal affixed by its Secretary this day of
1979.
