A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BIDS AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER TO AWARD CONTRACTS FOR A
RADIO PAGING SYSTEM FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF
GENERAL SERVICES , AND FOR THE STEPHENS SCHOOL
AND OAK FOREST STORM DRAINAGE 4TH YEAR COMMU-
NITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROJECTS; AND
FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, invitation to bid was duly advertised, and bids
received pursuant thereto are attached as an Exhibit for the
following :
EXHIBIT A: A radio paging system for the Department of
General Services
EXHIBIT B: Stephens School and Oak Forest Storm Drainage
4th Year Community Development Block Grant
Projects .
WHEREAS , the lowest responsible and responsive bidders
have been determined, and it is the desire of the Board of
Directors to authorize the issuance of contracts for such pur-
chases to the lowest responsive and responsible bidders .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1 . The City Manager is authorized to enter into
contracts with the bidders named on the attached exhibits for
a total contract price as set out , the funds for which have
been allocated in the 1979 budget .
SECTION 2 . All items to be purchased herein shall comply
with the bidding specifications. Upon receipt of the items or
from time to time as may be required, the City Manager and the
Director of Finance are hereby authorized and directed to
issue the necessary warrants in payment of the contract price.
SECTION 3 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
