3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH DANIEL UTILITY OF LITTLE ROCK, IN
5 THE AMOUNT OF FOUR HUNDRED TWENTY-FOUR THOUSAND
6 DOLLARS ($424,161.29) FOR THE EQUIPMENT INSTALLATION AND
7 SITE WORK AT THE CITY'S CNG FUELING STATION LOCATED AT
8 6TH AND FERRY STREETS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

10 WHEREAS, a bid was issued for installation of equipment and site work at the City's CNG Fueling
11 Station at 6th and Ferry Streets, on behalf of the Fleet Services Department; and,
12 WHEREAS, Daniel Utility of Little Rock submitted the only qualifying bid, in the amount of Four
13 Hundred Twenty-Four Thousand, One Hundred Sixty-One and 29/100 Dollars($424,162.29);
14 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract with
17 Daniel Utility of Little Rock to provide the equipment installation and site work at the City's CNG
18 Fueling Station, located at 6th and Ferry Streets, in the amount of Four Hundred Twenty-Four Thousand,
19 One Hundred Sixty-One and 29/100 Dollars($424,162.29).
20 Section 3. Funds for this purchase are available in the Fleet Reserve Account: $125,737.64; and
21 S40A146 CNG Grant Match Account: $298,423.65.
22 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
23 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
24 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
25 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
26 resolution.
27 Section 5. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
28 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsiste y.
