3 A RESOLUTION TO AWARD A CONTRACT TO COSSE
4 CONSTRUCTION, LLC, FOR THE 12TH STREET REVITALIZATION
5 STREETSCAPE ARKANSAS COMMUNITY ECONOMIC
6 DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM GRANT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, Bids were solicited for 12th Street Revitalization (Streetscape), Bid #2012-261,
9 ACEDP Grant#794-0019608; and,
10 WHEREAS, Cosse Construction, LLC, was the lowest responsive, responsible bid meeting
11 specifications in the amount of Four Hundred Fifty-Three Thousand Dollars ($453,000.00); Four
I 12 Hundred Twelve Thousand, Five Hundred Forty-Six and 25/100 Dollars ($412,546.25) plus 7%
13 contingencies);
14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to execute an agreement with Cosse Construction,
17 LLC,for 12th Street Revitalization(Streetscape)Project.
18 Section 2. Funding for this project is available from Arkansas Community & Economic
19 Development Program Grant #794-0019608 in the amount of Two Hundred Seventy-Eight Thousand
20 Dollars ($278,000.00) and One Hundred Seventy-Five Thousand Dollars ($175,000.00) in the Ward 2
21 allocation for Capital Sales Tax Project Funds.
22 Section 3. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
23 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
24 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
25 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
26 resolution.
27 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same,that are inconsistent with
i28 the provisions of this resolution,are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
29 Section 5. This resolution will be in full force and effect from and after the date of its adoption.
