6142 RESOLUTION NO. 6 , 142 A RESOLUTION REJECTING THE HIGHWAY 10 CORRIDOR CONTINGENCY PLAN , AFFIRMING THE APPLICATION OF THE 1990 COMPREHENSIVE DEVELOPMENT PLAN ACCEP- TED BY RESOLUTION NO. 4, 708 AS THE DEVELOPMENT POLICY FOR THE HIGHWAY 10 CORRIDOR, REQUESTING TEAM FOUR, INC. TO PROCEED WITH THE HIGHWAY 10 PORTION OF THE EXTRATERRITORIAL AREAS PLAN WITH URGENCY, TRANSMITTING A RECORDING OF PUBLIC HEARING, SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING PROCESS FOR REVIEW OF THE TEAM FOUR, INC. STUDY AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES . Whereas , the development of the Highway 10 Corridor west from I -430 is of major concern to the City of Little Rock and there being a need for a policy statement concerning the High- way 10 Corridor; NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS Section 1: That the Staff Study of February 13, 19.79 , "The Highway 10 Corridor Contingency Plan" be and the same is hereby rejected as not reflecting the policy of the City of Little Rock in the Highway 10 Corridor. Section 2 : The 1990 Comprehensive Development Plan accep- ted by Resolution No . 4, 708 is hereby declared to be the guide for development in the Highway 10 Corridor and applications for zoning which present land uses inconsistent with said 1990 Plan will be rejected until such time as The Extraterritoral Areas Plan is completed and accepted by the City of Little Rock. Section 3: Team Four Inc. is hereby requested to proceed with all haste to the completion of the Highway 10 portion of the Extraterritorial Areas Plan. Section 4: It is directed that a copy of the recording of the Public hearing of April 12 , 1979 , concerning the Highway 10 Corridor be sent to Team Four, Inc. so that they might have the benefit of the thoughts expressed therein. Section 5 : That upon the completion of the Highway 10 Corridor portion of the Team Four, Inc . Extraterritorial Areas Plan, said Plan shall be presented by a public hearing process after advertisements and publication so as to insure citizen -2- participation in the planning process .
