A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER AND STAFF TO
ALLOW A MAXIMUM "HOLD" OF THIRTY (30) DAYS FOR CASES
IN WHICH IT HAS BEEN DETERMINED THAT THE OWNER IS NOT
COOPERATING, AND THEREAFTER SUBMIT ANY SUCH CASES TO
FORMAL CONDEMNATION AND COURT ACTION; AND FOR OTHER
PURPOSES.
WHEREAS, condemned houses are a health and safety hazard to the
public.
NOW, THEREFORE, RF IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. That the City Manager and his staff are directed to
allow a maximum "hold" of thirty (30) days for cases in which it has
been determined that the owner of condemned property is not cooperating,
and thereafter to submit such cases to formal condemnation and court
action.
SECTION 2. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
