6096 RESOLUTION NO. 6,096 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS , URGING THE a ;EPS OF THE 72nd GENERAL ASSEMBLY TO REFRAIN FROM PASSING ANY LEGISLATION THAT WOULD INCREASE BENEFITS TO RE PAID PROM FIRE AND POLICE PENSION FUNDS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES. WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of the firemen and the policemen of the City of Little Rock to maintain actuarially sound pension systems; and IFIEREAS, the present pension systems are in danger of becoming actuarially unsound; and WHEREAS, there are numerous bills before the 72nd General Assembly that would increase benefits to recipients of said systems. NOW, THEREFORE, RE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS. SECTION 1. The Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, hereby urges the members of the 72nd General Assembly to refrain from passing any legislation that would increase benefits to be paid from Fire and Police Pension Funds.
