A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DEDICATION OF TWO
PARCELS OF LAND TO THE ARKANSAS STATE HIGHWAY
COMMISSION TO SATISY RIGHT OF WAY REQUIREMENTS
FOR WIDENING ASHER AVENUE; DIRECTING THE CITY
ATTORNEY' S OFFICE TO PREPARE THE NECESSARY
DOCUMENTS OF CONVEYANCE; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1 . The Mayor and City Clerk are hereby authorized, for
and on behalf of the City of Little Rock, to execute Dedication Deeds
to two parcels of land, with the City of Little Rock as Grantor and
the Arkansas State Highway Commission as Grantee, to satisfy right
of way requirements for the widening of Asher Avenue . The legal de-
scriptions of said parcels of land are identified as follows, to-wit:
A) Part of the Northeast Quarter of the Southwest Quarter of
Section 13 , Township 1 North, Range 13 West, Pulaski County,
Arkansas, more particularly described as follows :
Starting at the Southeast Corner of Lot 6 , West Acres Addition
to the City of Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas, said
corner also being on the westerly right of way line of Oak
Park Drive; thence North 10° 26 ' West along said existing
right of way line a distance of 239 .4 feet to a point on the
existing southeasterly right of way line of State Highway 5,
said point also being the Northeast Corner of said Lot 6;
thence North 48° 40 ' East along said existing right of way
line a distance of 58 . 3 feet to a point of intersection with
the existing easterly right of way line of Oak Park Drive for
the point of beginning; thence North 48° 40 ' East along said
existing right of way line of said State Highway a distance
of 10 . 7 feet to a point; thence in a northeasterly direction
along said existing right of way line on a curve right having
a radius of 542 . 96 feet a distance of 180 . 1 feet to a point;
thence North 67° 40 ' East along said existing right of way
line a distance of 175 . 6 feet, more or less , to a point on
the Centerline of Rock Creek; thence South 55° 05 ' East along
said Centerline a distance of 118 .6 feet, more or less, to a
point on the proposed southeasterly right of way line of said
State Highway; thence South 76° 19 ' 30" West along said pro-
posed right of way line a distance of 303 . 5 feet, more or less ,
to a point; thence South 69° 44 ' West along said proposed
right of way line a distance of 130 . 1 feet to a point on said
existing easterly right of way line of Oak Park Drive; thence
North 10° 26 ' West along said existing right of way line a
distance of 16 . 7 feet to the point of beginning and containing
0 . 56 acre, more or less .
B) Part of Lot 4, Block 4, Westwood Addition to the City of Little
Rock, being a part of the Northwest Quarter of the Northwest
Quarter of Section 23 , Township 1 North, Range 13 West, Pulaski
County, Arkansas, more particularly described as follows :
Starting at the Southeast Corner of Lot 4, Block 4, Westwood
Addition; thence North 00° 51 ' East along the East line thereof
a distance of 208 .4 feet to a point on the proposed southerly

right of way life of State Highway 5 for the point of beginning;
thence South 87 13 ' West along said proposed right of way line
a distance of 99 .9 feet to a point on the West line of said
Lot; thence North 00° 51 ' East along said West line a distance
of 5 .0 feet to a point on the existing southerly right of way
line of said State Highway; thence North 87° 13 ' East along
said existing right of way line a distance of 99 .9 feet to a
point on the East line of said Lot; thence South 00° 51 ' West
along said East line a distance of 5 .0 feet to the point of
beginning and containing 497 square feet, more or less.
SECTION 2 . The City Attorney ' s office is hereby authorized and
directed to prepare the necessary documents for conveyance of the two
tracts of land as identified in Section 1 hereof.
SECTION 3 . This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
