A RESOLUTION MAKING APPOINTMENTS; AND FOR
OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1 . The following named persons are hereby appointed
to serve as members of the Board of Trustees of the Arkansas Arts
Center for a term which will expire June 30 , 1981 :
Mr. Sid Frier
Mr. Alcorn Minor, Jr.
Ms . Vashti Varnado
SECTION 2 . Mr. Booker Day is hereby appointed to serve as
a Commissioner of the Little Rock Housing Authority for a five
year term to expire October 31, 1982 .
SECTION 3 . The following named persons are hereby appointed
to the Manpower Area Planning Council for a term to expire June 30,
1978 :

Bob Barker
Werner Knoop
Benjamin Davis
Calvin Scribner
Cleo Johnson
Albert Porter

SECTION 4 . James E. Mauney and Mrs . Dorothy Davis are hereby
appointed to serve as members of the City Beautiful Commission for
one year terms to expire October 25, 1978 .
SECTION 5, This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
