A RESOLUTION GRANTING A PERMANENT EASEMENT
TO TEXAS EASTERN TRANSMISSION CORPORATION
FOR A PIPE LINE IN THE LITTLE ROCK PORT
INDUSTRIAL PARK; AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND
CITY CLERK TO SIGN SAID EASEMENT IN FAVOR
OF TEXAS EASTERN TRANSMISSION CORPORATION;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES .
WHEREAS, the Little Rock Port Authority, pursuant to authority
granted to it, has agreed to allow Texas Eastern Transmission Corporation
to construct, for valuable consideration, an additional pipe line and
appurtenances thereto, and grant it a right-of-way easement on land
of the Little Rock Port Industrial Park. The said easement for the
installation of the pipe line and appurtenances shall be on the follow-
ing described property located in the County of Pulaski, State of
Arkansas :
All that part of NZ of NE4, Section 20 ,
Township 1 North, Range 11 West, lying
East of Fourche Creek; and
All that part of SW4, Section 17 , Town-
ship 1 North, Range 11 West, lying East
of Fourche Bayou.
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock hereby
approves and grants the easement described above to Texas Eastern Trans-
mission Corporation for the consideration aforesaid.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1 . The Mayor of the City of Little Rock is hereby au-
thorized to execute a permanent easement, to be approved by the City
Attorney, and the City Clerk is hereby directed to attest the same,
conveying a permanent easement for the installation of the pipe line
and necessary appurtenances to Texas Eastern Transmission Corporation.
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption.
