A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
SUBMIT AN APPLICATION FOR STATE ASSISTANCE
UNDER ACT NO. 763 OF 1977 (TOURIST FACILITIES
ACT) ; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
Section 1. That the City Manager of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas (the "City" ) be, and hereby is, authorized and directed
to submit, on behalf of the City an application to the State Board.
of Finance for state assistance in the development of a proposed con-
vention/meeting hall and sports arena facility in accordance with
the provisions of Act No. 763 of the Acts of Arkansas of 1977. The
Mayor of the City is authorized to countersign said application.
Section 2. That the City Manager be, and hereby is, autho-
rized and directed to execute and deliver such further writings,
supply such additional information and take such other action as is
reasonably necessary in connection with the application, the obtaining
of a hearing thereon by the State Board of Finance, and to obtaining
approval of the application.
Section 3 . That this resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
