A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING AND ALLOCATING FUNDS
PURSUANT TO TITLES II AND VI OF THE COMPRE-
HENSIVE EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING ACT OF 1973;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, the Department of Labor has advised that the
area comprised of Pulaski County, Lonoke County, Faulkner
County and Saline County has been allocated the following
funds :
a) $519 , 544 . 00 Title II Public Service Employment funds
b) $873 , 638 . 00 Title VI Public Service Employment funds;
and
WHEREAS, the said Department of Labor has recommended that
these funds be allocated based on the ratio of the total number
of unemployed persons in each area during the three consecutive
months of highest unemployment from June 1, 1975 to May 31, 1976
and the Advisory Council for said area has concurred in this re-
commendation.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The sums of $519 , 544 . 00 Title II Public Service
Employment funds and $873, 638 .00 Title VI Public Service Employ-
ment funds are hereby accepted from the United States Department
of Labor. Allocation of said funds shall be as follows :
Title II $519 , 544 .00 less 5% administration - $493 , 567 .00
Title VI $873 , 638 .00 less 5% administration - $829 , 731 .00
