RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, SETTING THE DATE OF
HEARING ON THE PETITION TO VACATE PORTIONS OF BRAGG
STREET LYING SOUTH OF ROOSEVELT ROAD AND ADJACENT
TO BRAGG' S SECOND ADDITION AND SHERMAN STREET,
E. 28th STREET, AND E . 29th STREET LYING EAST OF
THE EAST R/W LINE OF INTERSTATE HIGHWAY I-30 AND
ADJACENT TO PETTEFER' S ADDITION AND COX' S ANNEX
TO PETTEFER' S ADDITION AND COX' S ANNEX TO PETTEFER' S
ADDITION AND PORTIONS OF E. 30th STREET AND DORIS
STREET ADJACENT TO BIDDLE ADDITION AND QUAPAW
ADDITION
WHEREAS, a petition was duly filed with the Board of
Directors of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, on the 31st
day of January , 1977 , asking the Board of Directors
to vacate and abandon portions of Bragg Street, Sherman Street,
E. 28th Street, E. 29th Street, E. 30th Street and Doris Street
located within the following additions to the City of Little
Rock: Bragg Second Addition, Pettefer' s Addition, Cox' s Annex
to Pettefer' s Addition, Biddle Addition and Quapaw Addition as
designated on the plats of the said Additions. The plat of
Bragg Second Addition is now appearing of record in Plat Book 2 ,
at page 44 ; the plat of Pettefer' s Addition is now appearing of
record in Book 7 , at page 109 ; the plat of Cox' s Annex to
Pettefer' s Addition is now appearing of record in Plat Book
1 , at page 34 ; the plat of Biddle Addition is now appearing
of record in book 2 , at page 37 ; and the plat of Quapaw
Addition, is now appearing of record on Book AB , page 333 ;
all of which are located in the Office of the Recorder of
Pulaski County, Arkansas, subject, however, to any public
utility easements located in the aforementioned streets and
alleys.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS :
SECTION 1. The hearing on said petition shall be held
at the meeting of the Board of Directors of the City Hall at
7:30 o ' clock P.M. , on the 19 day of April , 1977 .
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give
notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law by
publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a news-
paper published in Pulaski County, Arkansas, and having general
circulation in the City of Little Rock.
