5660 RESOLUTION NO 5,660
A RESOLUTION URGING PULASKI COUNTY TO INITIATE
PLANS FOR THE REMOVAL OF THE OLD COUNTY JAIL;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1 . Inasmuch as the old County Jail situated along
the south bank of the Arkansas River has become considerably
deteriorated, seemingly beyond rehabilitation and is not being
used or maintained, the Board of Directors of the City of Little
Rock would urge Pulaski County to consider all possible means of
demolishing said Jail as soon as possible .
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
