A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE DEPARTMENT OF
COMMUNITY SERVICES OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS TO PERFORM INSPECTION SERVICES FOR
PLUMBING AND NATURAL GAS INSTALLATIONS OUTSIDE
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK IN THE AREA SERVED BY
THE LITTLE ROCK MUNICIPAL WATER WORKS SYSTEM;
AUTHORIZING FEES TO BE CHARGED FOR SUCH SERVICE;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF

LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1 . The Department of Community Services is hereby
authorized, at the request of either the State of Arkansas , the
Arkansas Louisiana Gas Company, or the owner, to make inspections
of plumbing and natural gas installations outside the City of
Little Rock in the area served by the Little Rock Municipal Water
Works System in keeping with the provisions and standards provided
for by the State of Arkansas Plumbing Code.
SECTION 2 . The Department of Community Services shall
charge inspection fees for services rendered pursuant to authority
of Section 1 hereof in an amount being one and one-half times
the fee applicable for such inspection services in the City of
Little Rock as set forth in the Little Rock, Arkansas "Mechanical
Code" provided for by Chapter 30 of the Code of Ordinances of
the City of Little Rock .
SECTION 3. This Ordinance shall be in full force and
effect from and after its passage .
