5495 RESOLUTION NO 5,495
A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE EXISTING PAY PLAN FOR
THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The classification compensation study being
conducted in recent months is now completed and based on the
findings of that said study it is recommended that the current
pay plan for the City be amended in order to accomplish the
following major objects :
1 . Provide a more definite system for upgrading classes
and positions consistent with a more sophisticated
evaluation system
2 . Allow for the upgrades identified in the Classification
Compensation study
3 . Establish a structure that permits direct comparability
with the existing Pointran Plan.
A copy of the Pay Plan, as amended, is attached hereto as Ex-
hibit "A" to this Resolution and made a part hereof. Funds
were appropriated in the 1976 Budget for these amendments and
the upgrades contained therein .
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.

FACI'ORAN PAY PLAN
The attached amended Factoran Pay Plan reflects the existing Factoran
Plan of seventeen Pay Grades with additional half grades. added to accomplish
the following objectives:
1. Provides a more definitive system for upgrading classes consistent
with a more sophisticated evaluation system.
2. Allow upgrades identified in Classification Compensation Study.
3. Establish structure permitting direct comparability with Pointran
Plan.
4. Accomplish objectives enumerated in "1976 Pay Plan Goals and
Objectives."
