A RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACTS FOR THE
PURCHASE OF FIRE DEPARTMENT CLOTHING;
AUTHORIZING PAYMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, invitation to bid was duly advertised and bids
received in response thereto according to law for the purchase
of work and dress uniforms for the Little Rock Fire Depart-
ment; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsive and responsible bidders
have been determined and it is the desire of the Board of
Directors to award a contract to the lowest responsible and
responsive bidders .
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1 . The lowest responsible and responsive bids
on work and dress uniforms for the Little Rock Fire Depart-
ment are hereby accepted and contracts awarded as follows:

These items of wearing apparel are authorized to be pur-
chased from time to time throughout the year as deemed necessary.
Funds for these purchases have been included in the 1975 Budget
of the City of Little Rock.
SECTION 2 . Upon delivery of the said items of wearing
apparel, complying in all respects with bidding specifications ,
the City Manager and Director of Finance are authorized and
directed to issue the necessary warrant or warrants in payment
thereof.

SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
