5406 RESOLUTION NO 5,406
A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING A TORNADO WARNING
SYSTEM PROJECT FOR THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK;
ENCOURAGING CITIZENS TO MAKE FINANCIAL CON-
TRIBUTIONS FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF SUCH A
SYSTEM; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1 . The Board of Directors of the City of Little
Rock hereby support a project initiated by the Pulaski Heights
Jaycees to provide a local tornado warning system for Little
Rock. It has been estimated that such a project would cost
approximately $200, 000 .00 , with the Federal Government funding
one-half the costs . All the citizens of Little Rock are
encouraged to make contributions to this worthwhile project.
SECTION 2 . This Resolution will be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
