A RESOLUTION GRANTING A FRANCHISE FOR THE
CONSTRUCTION OF A FENCE IN THE PUBLIC RIGHT-
OF-WAY OF MONROE STREET; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS:
SECTION 1 . Mr. Joe Kaufman is hereby granted a franchise to construct
a fence within the right-of-way of Monroe Street north off Asher Avenue to
enclose a lumber yard situated at Monroe Street and Asher Avenue. Said
fence is to enclose not more than the West 20' of Monroe Street right-of-
way for a distance north of Asher Avenue of approximately 200' .
SECTION 2. This franchise is granted on the condition that if at
some time in the future it becomes necessary for the City of Little Rock
to utilize the right-of-way for any purpose deemed necessary, then, upon
sixty (60) days written notice by the City, the owner of said property along
which the fence is constructed shall be required to remove the fence and
encroachment and restore the said property to its condition at the time of
the granting of this franchise at his sole expense.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect from
and after its adoption.
