5400 RESOLUTION NO 5,400
A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE
PURCHASE OF A DIESEL TRACTOR; AUTHORIZING
PAYMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS, invitation to bid was duly advertised and bids
received in response thereto according to law for the purchas
of a 445 diesel tractor for use by the Parks and Recreation
Department; and
WHEREAS , the lowest responsive and responsible bidder
has been determined and it is the desire of the Board of Direc-
tors to award a contract to the lowest responsible and respon-
sive bidder.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The lowest responsible and responsive bid on
one 445 diesel tractor for the Parks and Recreation Department
is hereby accepted and a contracted is hereby awarded to Clark
Machinery Company of Little Rock for a total price of $5, 096 .00 .
Funds for the said diesel have been provided for in the 1975
Budget for the City of Little Rock.
SECTION 2 . Upon delivery of the said 445 diesel tractor
complying in all respects with bidding specifications, the
City Manager and Director of Finance are hereby authorized and
directed to issue the necessary warrant in payment thereof.
SECTION 3 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
