5398 RESOLUTION NO 5,398
A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER TO
CONSULT WITH THE ARKANSAS HIGHWAY DEPARTMENT
REGARDING THE POSSIBILITY OF USING FEDERAL
FUNDS FOR URGENTLY NEEDED IMPROVEMENTS TO
CERTAIN STREETS IN THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK
IN THE AREA OF 1430; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The Board of Directors of the City of Little
Rock hereby directs the City Manager to consult with members
of the Arkansas Highway Department regarding the possibility
of using Federal funds for urgently needed improvements to
certain streets in the City, particularly in the area of I-430.
Further, The Board of Directors encourages the formation of
Improvement Districts in these particular areas to provide
additional aid in £mprovement of these said streets.
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
