A RESOLUTION FIXING A DATE FOR A HEARING ON A PETITION
TO VACATE, ABANDON AND CLOSE THAT PORTION OF VANCE
STREET LOCATED BETWEEN EAST 15th STREET AND EAST 17th
STREET, AND ALSO THAT PORTION OF EAST 16th STREET
LOCATED BETWEEN BRAGG STREET AND McALMONT STREET,
ALL IN BRAGG'S ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS; AND ALSO THE NORTH-SOUTH ALLEYS LOCATED
IN BLOCKS 8, 9 and 10 , BRAGG'S ADDITION TO THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS, AND ALSO THE EAST-WEST ALLEY
LOCATED IN LENON AND EDWARDS SUBDVISION OF BLOCK
11 OF BRAGG'S ADDITION TO THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK,
ARKANSAS.
WHEREAS, a Petition was duly filed with the Board of Directors of
the City of Little Rock, Arkansas , on the 7th day of April, 1975 , asking
the Board of Directors to vacate, abandon and close that portion of Vance
Street located between 15th Street and 17th Street and also that portion of
East 16th Street located between Bragg Street and McAlmont Street, and also
the North-South Alleys located in Blocks 8, 9 and 10, Bragg's Addition to
the City of Little Rock, and the East-West alley located in Lenon and Edwards
Subdivision of Block 11 of Bragg's Addition to the City of Little Rock, subject,
however, to any public utility easements located in said streets and alleys .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS:
SECTI ON 1 . The hearing on said Petitions shall be held at the
meeting of the Board of Directors in the City Hall at 7:30 o'clock P.M. ,
on the 17th day of June , 1975 .
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice
of such hearing in the manner prescribed by law by publication once a week
for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski County,
Arkansas , and having general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
