A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT WITH R.L.
POLK COMPANY FOR THE PURCHASE OF CERTAIN
HOUSING INFORMATION; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS .
SECTION 1. The City Manager is hereby authorized to enter
into a contract with R. L. Polk Company for the purchase by the
City of Little Rock of an urban information package entitled
Profiles of Change. Contained in such information package is
data concerning population and housing trends , rates of change
for household movements , vacant structures , length of vacancies ,
residency characteristics and other reports and maps which will
be very valuable to the City in its efforts to upgrade its
housing stock and improve living conditions . Contract author-
ization is for two years and the costs for this project have
already been appropriated.
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
