5350 RESOLUTION NO. 5,350
A RESOLUTION ENDORSING AND APPROVING A
RECOMMENDED ROUTE FOR THE EAST BELT
FREEWAY; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY OF
LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. The Board of Directors of the City of Little
Rock hereby endorses Route IIC of the East Belt Freeway as
prepared by the Arkansas Highway Department for the following
reasons :
a) There would be maximum benefit from a traffic
carrying standpoint with the connection from the
South Terminal Interchange
b) There would be minimal relocation of existing uses
c) There would be minimal disruption of existing
development areas
d) There would be maximum benefit to the Little Rock
Airport and River Port
A sketch of the proposed Route IIC is attached to this
Resolution as Exhibit "A" .
SECTION 2 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
