A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A DEDICATION DEED FROM
THE HOUSING AUTHORITY OF THE CITY OF LITTLE
ROCK FOR LAND LOCATED IN PULASKI COUNTY, ARKANSAS;
AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1 . The City of Little Rock, Arkansas , hereby accepts
a Dedication Deed from the Housing Authority of the City of Little
Rock, Arkansas , to the following described real property situated in
the County of Pulaski , State of Arkansas , to-wit:
Lot 12, Block 100, Original City of Little Rock,
Pulaski County , Arkansas , and Lots 7, 8 and 9,
Block 99, Original City of Little Rock, Pulaski
County, Arkansas
SECTION 2 . The City of Little Rock hereby agrees as a part of
the consideration for the above described land to the covenants
expressed in the said Dedication Deed and same is made a part hereof
as though set out herein word for word.
SECTION 3 . This Resolution shall be in full force and effect
from and after its adoption .

DEDICATION DEED
,KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS:
That the Housing Authority of the City of Little Rock,
Arkansas, a corporation organized under and by virtue of the
laws of the State of Arkansas, Grantor, by its Chairman of the
Board of Commissioners and its Secretary, for valuable consid-
eration, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, does
hereby dedicate, grant, sell and quitclaim unto the City of
Little Rock, Arkansas, Grantee, and unto its successors and
assigns forever, the following described land situated in the
County of Pulaski, State of Arkansas, to-wit:
Lot
12 , Block 100, Original City of Little Rock,
Pulaski County, Arkansas and Lots 7 , 8 and 9 ,
Block 99, Original City of• Little Rock, Pulaski
County, Arkansas
TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the same unto the said City of Little
Rock, Arkansas and unto its successors and assigns forever with
all appurtenances thereunto belonging. c.
Grantee, as part of the consideration hereof, agrees to
the following covenants running with the land to be binding
upon itself and successors and assigns:
(a) For a period of twenty (20) years ending December 18 , 1981,
to devote the property only for use as a public plaza area
in accordance with the Urban Renewal Plan for the Central
Little Rock Project, ARK R-12 , dated September 1961, and
as amended on December 18, 1961, May 16 , 1962 , July 5, 1972
and December 19, 1972 , on file in the office of the City
Clerk, Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas.
(b) Not to discriminate upon the basis of race, color,
creed or national origin in the sale, lease or
rental or in the use or occupancy of the property
or any improvements erected or to be erected thereon,
or any part thereof. The United States of America
shall be a beneficiary of the foregoing covenant
and is entitled to enforce it.
The Housing Authority of the City of Little Rock, Arkansas,
hereby covenants with said City of Little Rock, Arkansas that
it will forever warrant and defend the title to said lands
against all claims and encumbrances done or suffered by it, but
against none other.

corporation, and were duly authorized in their respective capa-

and behalf of said corporation, and further stated and acknow-
ledged that they had so signed, executed and delivered said
foregoing instrument for the consideration, uses and purposes
therein mentioned and set forth.
