A RESOLUTION AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR THE
PURCHASE OF NINE VIDEO TERMINALS FOR USE
WITH THE POLICE COMPUTER SYSTEM; AUTHORIZING
PAYMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES
WHEREAS , the City of Little Rock has advertised for bids
for the purchase of nine video terminals for use with the Police
Computer System; and
WHEREAS, the lowest responsible and responsive bidder has
been determined and it is the desire of the Board of Directors
to authorize the purchase of said video terminals from the
successful bidder.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS.
SECTION 1. A contract is hereby awarded to Lear Seigler, Inc. ,
for the purchase of nine video terminals for a purchase price of
$24 ,525 . 00 which amount includes $270 . 00 freight charges .
SECTION 2 . Upon delivery of the said video terminals com-
plying in all respects with bidding specifications the City
Manager and Director of Finance are hereby authorized and di-
rected to issue the necessary warrant in payment of said purchase
price. Funds for this purchase are available through an LEAA
Grant obtained for this purpose.
SECTION 3 . This Resolution shall be in full force and
effect from and after its adoption.
