3 A RESOLUTION TO SET AUGUST 6, 2013, AS THE DATE OF HEARING
4 ON THE PETITION TO ABANDON A NORTH/SOUTH ALLEY
5 LOCATED BETWEEN BATTERY AND WOLFE STREETS, SOUTH OF
6 12TH STREET, BLOCK 5 CENTENNIAL ADDITION (G-23-437) IN THE
7 CITY OF LITTLE,ARKANSAS; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, a petition has been filed with the City Clerk requesting that the Board of Directors
10 vacate and abandon approximately 330 linear-feet of a twenty (20)-foot wide alley right-of-way along
11 with a portion of the easements located within the alley for an alley located south of 12th Street between
12 Battery and Wolfe Streets, Block 5, Centennial Addition to the City of Little Rock, Arkansas, pursuant to
13 its general police power authority under Ark. Code Ann. §14-54-104;
14 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
15 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
16 Section 1. The hearing on the ordinance to abandon the above-mentioned right-of-way shall be held
17 at a meeting of the Board of Directors of the City of Little Rock in the Board Room of City Hall at six
18 o'clock on the 6th day of August 6, 2013.
19 Section 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of such hearing in the manner prescribed
20 by law by publication once a week for two (2) consecutive weeks in a newspaper published in Pulaski
21 County,Arkansas,and having a general circulation in the City of Little Rock.
