3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH HYDRAULIC AND AIR SALES, INC., FOR
5 THE REBUILD OF HYDRAULIC CYLINDERS, FOR THE FLEET
6 SERVICES DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

8 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock advertised for bids for an APO for the rebuild of hydraulic
9 cylinders for the Fleet Services Department under Bid #C13010, and the only bid that was received was
10 from Hydraulic and Air Sales, Inc.; and,
11 WHEREAS, purchases under this APO are estimated to be One Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars
12 ($120,000.00)annually; and,
13 WHEREAS, this APO is for one (1)-year, with an option to renew annually for two (2) additional
14 years;
15 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
16 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
17 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract with
18 Hydraulic and Air Sales, Inc., for the rebuild of hydraulic cylinders for the Fleet Services Department in
19 the estimated amount of One Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars ($120,000.00)annually.
20 Section 2. The contract is authorized for a period of one (1)-year and can be renewed for an
21 additional two(2)years, upon agreement of the parties.
22 Section 3. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the Fleet Services Parts Account#600013-60310.
23 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
24 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
25 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
26 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
27 resolution.
28 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
29 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
