3 A RESOLUTION TO AUTHORIZE THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
4 INTO A CONTRACT WITH GLOVER'S TRUCK PARTS &
5 EQUIPMENT, FOR THE PURCHASE OF ALLISON AUTOMATIC
6 TRANSMISSION PARTS AND REPAIRS FOR THE FLEET SERVICES
7 DEPARTMENT; AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES.

9 WHEREAS, the City of Little Rock advertised for bids for an APO to purchase Allison automatic
10 transmission parts and repairs for the Fleet Services Department under Bid #C13009, and the only bid that
11 was received was from Glover's Truck Parts& Equipment; and,
12 WHEREAS, purchases under this APO are estimated to be One Hundred Ninety Thousand Dollars
13 ($190,000.00)annually; and,
14 WHEREAS, this APO is for one (1)-year, with an option to renew annually for two (2) additional
15 years;
16 NOW,THEREFORE,BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CITY
17 OF LITTLE ROCK,ARKANSAS:
18 Section 1. The Board of Directors hereby authorizes the City Manager to enter into a contract with
19 Glover's Truck Parts & Equipment for the purchase of Allison automatic transmission parts and repairs
20 for the Fleet Services Department in the estimated amount of One Hundred Ninety Thousand Dollars
21 ($190,000.00)annually.
22 Section 2. The contract is authorized for a period of one (1)-year and can be renewed for an
23 additional two(2)years, upon agreement of the parties.
24 Section 3. Funds for this purchase are allocated in the Fleet Services driveline account #600031-
25 63315.
26 Section 4. Severability. In the event any title, section, paragraph, item, sentence, clause, phrase, or
27 word of this resolution is declared or adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such declaration or
28 adjudication shall not affect the remaining portions of the resolution which shall remain in full force and
29 effect as if the portion so declared or adjudged invalid or unconstitutional were not originally a part of the
30 resolution.
31 Section 4. Repealer. All laws, ordinances, resolutions, or parts of the same, that are inconsistent
32 with the provisions of this resolution, are hereby repealed to the extent of such inconsistency.
